A reminder about the Hispanic Conference in Salt Lake City on October 13th &
14thth......

I spoke with George Ryskamp last night and he agreed for us to record any of
his seminars for Joseph's Podcast project.....Joseph, he sends his regards!

If anyone has any questions regarding anything about the conference (which
is free to the public) or about the hotels available, please feel free to
ask.......I will be glad to post the information again if anyone needs it!
There are still a couple of rooms left at the Plaza Best Western Inn ($82.00
plus tax for two persons) right next door to the library and more rooms
available at the Howard Johnson Express Inn ($35.00 plus tax for a single &
$49.00 plus tax for two persons) a couple of blocks away.

The telephone number to call to order your VAULT film in advance is:
1-801-240-2334. If you tell them you are part of a group coming from out of
state to do research they will let you order ANY AMOUNT of films that you
need......otherwise the limit is five films per request.

Mr. Ryskamp's presentations are always high quality and I'm sure this
one will be no different. I appreciate you asking.

I'm wondering who is going to take a digital recorder with them? Do you
happen to have one? Or if no one has one does anyone have a regular
cassette recorder with an external microphone. You'll have to visit the
room where the presentation is to be given and plan your "recording"
strategy ahead of time. the recording device needs to be as close as
possible. The recording just won't come out good enough to listen to if
you are at the back of the room so if possible the recorder needs to be
right up next to the speaker if there is some kind of table for it there.

Joseph........I do not own a digital recorder......my cassette recorder has
an internal microphone. Does anyone out there who plans to attend the
Hispanic Conference in Salt Lake City have the type recorder that Joseph is
referring to?
