    Introduction w/direct

Is there anyway that Guanajuato can be included. Everyone from Nuestros Ranchos is very interested in Zacatecas and Jalisco and so am I but not as much as interested in Guanajuato. I think I am the only person in the whole group that is searching in Guanajuato.

    (Ocampo, San Felipe).

Last Names( Cortez, Espinosa, Gonzales, Torres, Alvardo,Ortiz, Tinajero, and Huerta) You know....just a little paragraph added at the bottom would not hurt.

    Thanks

    Introduction w/direct

Every state is important to our research but don't forget this group specializes in specific Mexican states.  I'd love to see Michoacan but it's not part of this group so I will wait and enjoy what I can share and  have shared with me on Zacatecas and Jalisco.

Don't worry about it! Take heart. I'm also researching in Queretaro, so I'll still be waiting when you're researching Guanajuato and Michoacan. Not to mention, Nayarit! Alice BB

I agree with you, Linda. If too many people start requesting a whole group of states to be put on the Pilot program, then FamilySearch will continue to follow their own agenda unless they get people to do the input for those specific states. I think we should only address the three states that this forum was set up for.

Thanks to you and the others who have shared their transcriptions with us.

    Introduction w/direct

My family as far down as I am at the moment which is 1840 started off from San Felipe Guanajuato. From there they moved to San Isidro de Ocampo Gto and then Ocampo Gto......which is where my sisters and brothers were born. I was born in San Luis Potosi.

I'm Trying to see if my 1800 family started in San Felipe Gto. or if they migrated to San Felipe Gto. from a different state but I am stuck at the moment.

Daniel I'm sorry but not sure what you mean Alteno. Is this a last name or a place name?

Jaime your last name is Gonzalez...do you have a file with your ancestors that I can look at?

    Thanks
