I found this interesting site that appears to have an extensive film collection for Latin America on Microfilm. The collection includes periodicals, census records, Politics, religion, Culture and popular belief and much more.
UC Berkley Bancroft Library appears to have the most material to our specific area of research, Jalisco, Zacatecas and Aguascalientes but UT Austin,Stanford and the California UC system also support this project. Unfortunately we just missed this year's conference that was held in late March in the Dominican Republic.

this is a great resource especially if any of the libraries are close to
some of the members (we know that some are).

    thanks Alicia,

we need to add this to the links area.

    thanks,

    joseph
